L&T’s CSR Policy: Building India’s Social Infrastructure
Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) is a large-scale engineering, construction, and manufacturing conglomerate with a continually growing focus on CSR. - Healthcare: Expansion of primary health care centers and launching of community police mobile clinics, and general health camps wherever required.

- Tax Exemption Certificates: Papers such as the 12A and 80G papers that endorse the tax exemption of the organization.
- Past Experience: Copies of such previous similar projects carried out with performance and achievement records.
Payment Ratio & CSR Budget
L&T abides by the statutory guidelines of the Companies Act, 2013, which stipulates that 2% of the average net profit of the last three financial years should be spent on CSR. The budget for CSR is spread across different areas depending on the magnitude of the work. - Water & Sanitation: Clean Drinking water facility and Sanitation facility should be available within the 15 Min of walking distance in urban and rural area. Hygiene awareness program should be conducted every quarter to make our citizens aware about how to keep their surrounding clean.
- Healthcare: Supporting healthcare through mobile health units, setting up of medical dispensaries and organizing health camps.
- Skill Development: Providing vocational training with the objective of improving employability for the disadvantaged sections of society.
- Education: Improving education standards in underprivileged areas and providing accessible education to all via infrastructure improvement and facility impartation.
