L&T’s CSR Policy: Building India’s Social Infrastructure

Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) is a large-scale engineering, construction, and manufacturing conglomerate with a continually growing focus on CSR. L&T’s CSR principles entail on developing the social capital of India for the overall purpose of anchoring people and help the country positively for inking sustainable solutions for the environmental and social issues. 1. Water: Such as watering projects, projects seeking to provide a clean source of drinking drinking water to rural and urban areas and those seeking to conserve water as well as those that focus on purification of water.
2. Education: assistance in construction of schools, colleges and Universities; Scholarships; E-learning.
3. Healthcare: Expansion of primary health care centers and launching of community police mobile clinics, and general health camps wherever required.
4. Skill Development: Education and training a envelopment opportunities that will cut joblessness among the youth and women: vocational training, computer literacy, and skills in business venture.
5. Environmental Sustainability: Procedures such as planting trees, avenues or bere plantations, solar power projects, and recycling to name but a few.

1. Registration Certificate: The copy of the registration under the applicable laws like societies registration act, trusts act etc..
2. Proposal Document: Outlines of the project that will include the aims and goals, limit of the project and the cost that the project will require and the intended results.
3. Audited Financial Statements: Company’s balance sheets for the last three financial years.
4. Tax Exemption Certificates: Papers such as the 12A and 80G papers that endorse the tax exemption of the organization.
5. Past Experience: Copies of such previous similar projects carried out with performance and achievement records.

1. Water & Sanitation: Clean Drinking water facility and Sanitation facility should be available within the 15 Min of walking distance in urban and rural area. Hygiene awareness program should be conducted every quarter to make our citizens aware about how to keep their surrounding clean.
2. Healthcare: Supporting healthcare through mobile health units, setting up of medical dispensaries and organizing health camps.
3. Skill Development: Providing vocational training with the objective of improving employability for the disadvantaged sections of society.
4. Education: Improving education standards in underprivileged areas and providing accessible education to all via infrastructure improvement and facility impartation.
5. Environmental Sustainability: Concentrating on environment protection through afforestation, renewable energy projects and waste management.

Tender Fees
