Introduction:-
Madhya Pradesh is enhancing skill development through the Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board (MPSSDEGB) in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MPBOCW). This program, focused on training for construction and allied roles, seeks experienced training partners to conduct short-term skill training for registered construction workers and their families. Objectives:-
The primary objectives of this skill training program are:
- Empowering Construction Workers: Equip registered construction workers and their families with essential skills for better employment.
- Promoting Safety: Emphasize training in workplace safety practices, especially critical in construction roles.
- Uplifting Local Workforce: Build a skilled workforce within Madhya Pradesh’s construction sector to meet industry standards and improve employability.
Eligibility Criteria:-
To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Registration: Must be legally registered by March 31, 2020. Joint ventures or consortiums are not permitted.
- Organizational Type: Eligible organizations include corporations, educational institutions accredited by relevant authorities, sector skill councils, and other state-accredited bodies.
- Financial Capacity: Organizations must demonstrate an average annual turnover of at least INR 2 crore over the past three years.
- Training Experience: Must have provided skill training to at least 1,000 candidates in the last three years.
- Positive Financial Status: Must hold a positive net worth of INR 25 lakh as of March 31, 2024.
- Compliance: Submit a notarized affidavit confirming that the organization has not been blacklisted by any government body
Mode of Registration:-
The application process involves the following steps:
- Offline Submission: Applications must be submitted in hard copy format, with all required self-attested documents.
- Deadline: Applications must be received by November 5, 2024, by 3:00 PM.
- Proposal Evaluation: Proposals will be opened and evaluated starting on November 6, 2024.

Applicants should prepare the following documents for submission:
- Proof of Incorporation: Documentation of the organization’s legal status.
- Financial Statements: Audited financial records from the last three years, including profit/loss statements and balance sheets.
- Training Experience Records: Evidence of training a minimum of 1,000 candidates over the last three financial years.
- Affidavit of Good Standing: Notarized declaration confirming the organization has not been blacklisted or debarred.
All documents must be in hard copy and submitted to the specified address before the application deadline.
Key Sectors:-
This training initiative targets several sectors vital for construction, each defined by National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) levels. The key job roles include:
- Construction: Training for roles such as construction electrician, bar bender, steel fixer, and mason.
- Plumbing: Skill development for general plumbers.
- Green Jobs: Training in solar photovoltaic installation (Suryamitra).
- IT and Management: For those interested in roles such as junior software developers and office operations executives.

Eligibility and Application Process:-
