Introduction:
The Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) has introduced an exciting opportunity for Training Partners (TPs) and Program Implementation Agencies (PIAs) to implement the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with Bridge Course Program. This initiative aims to boost tourism in Bihar by empowering individuals with industry-recognized skills. The program, developed under the Government of Bihar’s Tourism Department, offers a structured framework to certify existing skills, enhance employability, and promote the growth of the tourism sector in Bihar.
Objectives:
The RPL program focuses on three primary objectives:
- Skill Recognition: To align the skills of the unregulated workforce with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and standardize competencies.
- Employment Boost: To improve career opportunities for individuals in tourism by certifying existing skills and providing additional bridge training.
- Equitable Knowledge Value: To reduce inequalities by recognizing practical knowledge and experience gained outside of formal education.
Fee Details:-
Tender Cost – 590 rs
Govt. fee – 5000 rs
EMD – 50000 rs ( Refundable)
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be registered as a recognized organization on or before March 31, 2020.
- Meet financial criteria with a minimum annual turnover of INR 1 crore in the last three financial years and a positive net worth of INR 25 lakh as of March 31, 2024.
- Demonstrate prior experience in RPL or skill development programs, with successful placement of at least 500 candidates over the last three financial years.
Mode of Registration:
Eligible TPs and PIAs must register through the e-Procurement portal www.eproc2.bihar.gov.in. The digital application process requires an online submission, making it convenient and accessible for all applicants across the state.
